These events are put on by various businesses in the Lethbridge Alberta area. We are not affiliated with the organizers, venue, or vendors. We are an independently run website which brings together the information we can find in a user-friendly way.

We offer event notifications - due to a website limitation the button is labelled Registration - this is an invitation to register for an EVENT NOTIFICATION ONLY. We will simply email you an event notification with the details we find helpful to have when attending this event. We strongly encourage visiting the organizers website or social media pages to get their event notices. We are not working with the event organizers, they reserve the right to update their event information without notice. Fan Fest 2025!
Celebrate your favourite fandoms with all-day activities and adventures at this year's Fan Fest!
There's something for every fan: comics, movies, TV, book series and more! The Lethbridge Public Library will be hosting Fan Fest 2025 on Saturday, August 16, 2025. It's an all day, all ages celebration of fandom. We will have a market in the atrium for local artists and crafters. Tables are $20 each, and there are a limited number of spots.
- 10:30am = Superhero Storytime
- 12:00pm = Cosplay Contest
- 3:00pm = A Minecraft Movie (101min, PG)
- all day = Maker Marketplace
Maker Marketplace Vendors can REGISTER HERE to claim a table.
- The marketplace runs from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
- Setup can be done the evening before (6-8pm) or in the morning (9-10am).
- Each booth includes a 6ft table and 2 chairs.
- At previous, similar events, we average a few hundred guests (along with our regular library patrons).

Here's some things to keep in mind when planning a visit to the library.
- Dress appropriate for this indoor family-friendly location.
- Water fountain and vending machines available.
- If bringing in your own beverages or snacks, please be mindful and clean up after yourself.
- Recycling and Garbage bins are available.
- Parent Supervision Required
- Children under 8 to remain with their supervisor.
- Children 9-12 to remain in the building with their supervisor.
- Children 13+ may choose to be responsible independently.
- Library Staff have multiple help desks in the building, security on site, and self-serve kiosks!
- After hours drop-off available beside the entrances.

The Lethbridge Public Library has two locations in Lethbridge Alberta. The Main Branch located downtown and the Crossings Branch located on the west side.
