Are you looking for an opportunity to have your children engage with seniors in our community? Are you a senior and miss your grandchildren? Are you a homeschooler or working from home and looking for an outlet to get your children active? 

The Family Centre is partnering with seniors at Nord-Bridge to help bridge the gap between generations. Here are just some of the benefits of bringing the ages together: opportunities to learn new skills and methods of doing things; encouraging children to accept people of all ages, capabilities and limitations; developing social and emotional connects for children and seniors; alleviating isolation and depression for seniors; and filling a void for children who do not have grandparents available to them. The program pairs children (12 years and younger) and their caregivers with seniors. Participants will engage in active play, facilitated games,  quiet time together working on puzzles, art or reading. Join us for our monthly event and connect with some amazing seniors and children in our community.

  • ​Wednesdays: 3:15pm-4:15p - Sep 24, Oct 22, Nov 26
  • Kids aged 2-12 (with their caregivers) & Seniors.
